I died a little today.
John Hughes, an iconic writer and director, just passed away. He suffered from a heart attack in Manhattan.
Hughes, 59, is survived by his films, such as “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “The Breakfast Club” and one of my favorite movies, “Sixteen Candles.” High school never seemed as fun and enthralling as it did in Hughes’ body of work. He will be missed — as well as a supposed sequel to “Sixteen Candles.”
